At Langdon we offer a Montessori Track in grades ECE-5th. We are an AMI certified in our ECE (Pk3-Kindergarten) classrooms.

We have two ECE Montessori classrooms which are multi-age classrooms from Pre-K3 to Kindergarten.
We have one primary Montessori-inspired classroom for grades 1st-2nd and one intermediate Montessori-inspired classroom for grades 3rd-5th.
Our Montessori classrooms are multi-age and therefore use a small group model for individualized instruction based on need. Teachers use a variety of materials, strategies and curriculum in order to best fit the needs of each student. There are field trips and project-based learning in order to engage and capture the interest of our scholars in their learning.
Langdon Elementary feeds into McKinley Middle School, however our Montessori Track feeds into
Capitol Hill Montessori.
